My first experience of Karen's treatments was a 'head and neck' massage, which sorted my shoulder/neck problem with just one session. I then experienced the 'full back' massage and as someone who has had a quite a few practitioners treat my back over the years, I felt that I was in the hands of someone who really knew what she was doing and who was really into it. In addition to her excellent technique, she puts a lot of care into her treatments and put together they are a healing and restorative experience. It's the 'treat' in treatment. I highly recommend her.
I am a working mum with two small children and have suffered with intermittent lower back pain since the birth of my first child. Karen went through all the symptoms and pains I had been experiencing and put me at ease very quickly. She is very relaxed and down to earth and obviously loves and enjoys her work. The massage was fantastic – it was relaxing and felt amazing, as well as relieving the backache.
I would like to recommend TMC. I've had several massages or acupuncture sessions there, all of which have been very good. My most recent experience was sufficiently outstanding that I felt I should go online and write a review. I had a niggle in my neck on and off for about a year. As it came and went I have to admit that I ignored it. A few weeks ago my neck suddenly froze and I was unable to work or really do anything. I called TMC and made an appointment with Karen the day after it happened. She was amazing. Really sympathetic, asked really good questions and quickly got to the cause of the problem (quite a long way from my neck). Her knowledge of physiology is fantastic. After one session of acupuncture and massage I had pretty much full movement in my neck and after two the problem had gone. On the basis of those two sessions I've decided I am going to see her regularly to help avoid niggles and work on some long-term problems.
